Elizabeth Dow Files Nomination Petition Packet
Packet one of the largest with 2,000 Signatures

Joliet, IL – 29 Oct. 2007 – Elizabeth Dow, a candidate for Circuit Court Judge in the 2nd Sub-Circuit of Will County, announced today that she has filed paperwork to place her name on the February 5, 2008 Republican Primary ballot. Ms. Dow filed her paperwork today in Springfield, the first day to file nomination petitions.

For the past twelve weeks, over 150 volunteers have asked friends and neighbors to give Ms. Dow access to the ballot. Their work has produced one of the largest nomination packets ever filed for a judicial campaign. The packet contains 204 signature pages, each containing 10 signatures.

Elizabeth Dow said, "Today is truly a special day for me. Since announcing my campaign, many dozens of friends have volunteered their time to help me become a circuit court judge, from hosting open-houses with their neighrbors to walking door-to-door gathering signatures. I can't thank everyone who helped enough."
